What You Will Be Doing:

Diagnoses and corrects equipment malfunctions making adjustments and replacing faulty parts as needed. Performs preventive and scheduled maintenance of medical devices and related systems in accordance with department, manufacturer, and regulatory standards. Performs safety testing on medical equipment and patient care devices. Calibrates and troubleshoots electronic devices. Identifies and escalates issues not within scope of a BMET-I. Maintains documentation of all service events, performance tests and corrective maintenance actions. Repairs miscellaneous equipment if within scope and as requested, Performs on-call coverage as required by department needs.
