In this role, you will champion our mission by developing and implementing community-focused programs that provide meaningful group and individual support mechanisms, serving as the primary bridge between clinical oncology teams and those they serve to ensure critical cancer resources remain accessible. Every day you will facilitate dynamic support groups and educational courses designed to empower oncology patients, families, and healthcare professionals while taking a hands-on approach to leadership. By selecting and supervising volunteers in our Companions for Oncology Patient Enrichment Program and actively marketing our specialized services, you will be instrumental in the daily operation and promotion of programs that directly enhance the oncology patient experience. To be successful in this role, you will apply your expert ability to motivate individuals and foster effective interpersonal communication across diverse groups. Assists in making available to cancer patients, families and friends community resources and library resources regarding cancer. Markets Cancer Center services to the community.
