Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare setting as a Cath Lab Technologist, providing essential imaging services for patients requiring cardiac care. As a key member of the imaging team, you will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and accuracy. This contract opportunity offers meaningful patient interaction and the chance to collaborate with a skilled group of medical professionals.
Qualifications and Experience:
ARRT or RCIS certification required Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist strongly preferred Familiarity with imaging equipment and current Cath Lab procedures Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Strong communication and critical thinking skills BLS and ACLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain imaging equipment within the Cath Lab Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties Prepare and support patients throughout procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status Adhere to all infection control and quality assurance protocols Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records Participate in on-call rotations and potential overtime as needed
