Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in cardiac imaging by utilizing your expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment. An opportunity is available for a highly skilled Cath Lab Tech to contribute to exceptional patient care within an established healthcare setting.
Schedule:
3 shifts per week 12-hour daytime shifts: 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with a strong background in imaging procedures related to cardiac catheterization Proficiency with imaging equipment and familiarity with the latest interventional cardiology techniques Valid certification in Cardiovascular Technology (RCIS or equivalent) preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate specialized imaging equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures with accurate imaging and technical assistance Monitor patient vitals and document procedural details accurately Maintain and calibrate cath lab equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards Participate in pre-procedure and post-procedure care, ensuring all protocol and safety guidelines are upheld Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated Cath Lab Techs to apply their knowledge and skills on a contract basis while making a positive impact on patient lives.
