1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, including prior cardiac or special procedure experience, for a 13-week hospital-based contract in Arkansas. Details Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off Call is required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays; must be able to arrive on-site within 30 minutes of being called Overtime is typical for this role Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist Previous experience in cardiac procedures, ECG interpretation, or special procedures required ARRT certification, Arkansas Department of Health Radiology License, and current BLS required License required if applicable Graduation from an accredited Registered Radiologic Technologist program required Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist for up to 8-12 hours per shift Must be able to lift 50+ lbs of equipment, push a 150+ lb wheelchair with patient and equipment, and assist with patient lifts of 125+ lbs Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations, including CPR, and handle highly stressful situations with composure 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment are required for consideration Additional Information Provides radiologic services to all patients served by the Cath Lab across appropriate care settings This position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana testing; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid anything that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted First-time travelers are not explicitly noted as accepted or excluded — contact your recruiter for clarification
