PRN / Per Diem (Part-Time) About the Role Are you a highly skilled, patient-focused professional looking for flexible PRN hours? Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technician / Radiologic Technologist to join our Cath Lab team. In this role, you will provide critical, specialized support during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

What You Will Do Procedure Support :

Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures while strictly adhering to sterile techniques.

Patient Care :

Prep, position, and monitor adult patients, promptly responding to any changes in patient condition to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

Equipment Operation :

Safely and efficiently operate specialized cardiovascular equipment.

Documentation :

Record, calculate, and verify procedural data in real-time. Prepare necessary documentation, including treatment plans and progress reports.

Team Collaboration :

Partner with the broader healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow, equipment readiness, and top-tier patient care.

Compliance :

Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and quality improvement best practices.

Required Qualifications & Licenses Experience:

0-1 years of experience in cardiovascular or invasive procedures (Required) Licensure (ONE of the following licensures are required): CVT

• Cardiovascular Tech OR CRT
• Certified Radiologic Technologist OR RN
• Registered Nurse
• State Licensure and/or

Compact State Licensure Certifications :

BCLS

• Basic Life Support (Required within first 30 days)

Preferred Qualifications & Skills Education :

Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or a related field.

Certifications :

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).

Skills :

Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and procedural protocols. Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
