1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist in California with a minimum of 2 years of experience, CA licensure, and proficiency supporting cardiologists and radiologists in an IR lab setting. Details Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology lab supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses 4x10 hour day shifts with a variable start time between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM Every 3rd weekend required On-call as needed Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Valid California Fluoroscopy Permit required CA license required if applicable Ability to work with variable schedules including weekends and on-call shifts Additional Information Provides technical support for procedures performed in the IR lab, including execution and technical analysis under cardiologist supervision Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and the care team May be responsible for mentoring and training students Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract Two supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
