1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring at least 1 year of experience and proficiency across a wide range of IR procedures. Details Interventional Radiology unit 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Weekend rotation may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Potential to float between sister facilities within the state Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience required Current ACLS and BLS certification Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable Epic EMR experience required Proficiency in abdominal and pelvic procedures including angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, embolization, ERCP, IVC filter placement/removal, IVC cavagram, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, paracentesis, pelvic and renal angiography, selective visceral angiography, stent placement, superior vena cavogram, and thoracentesis Proficiency in genitourinary studies and procedures including adrenal and renal angiography, cholecystostomy, cystoscopy, embolization, gastrostomy, nephrostomy, renal artery and ureteral stent placement, and uterine arterial embolization Experience with vascular studies, endovascular interventions, and procedural responsibilities such as equipment setup, room circulating, and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbed Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Additional Information Perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures spanning vascular, genitourinary, and abdominal/pelvic specialties Responsibilities include equipment setup, room circulating, and scrubbing in to maintain a sterile field Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility First-time travelers may be considered All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
