One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining quality invasive diagnostic data during all studies performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory on inpatients and outpatients ranging from adult to geriatric age, consistently applying Dignity Core Values to the performance of every job duty. Every day you will work closely with referring and interpreting physicians, other department staff, and patients, utilizing your strong background in specialized areas such as Cath Lab/IR and Angiography. To be successful in this role, you will expertly manage designated assignments and perform related work as required or requested, ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care. Assists physicians with scrub and operates x-ray table as needed. Monitors patients during procedures via EKG and hemodynamic data. Shaves patients and performs aseptic skin prep. Sets up sterile field, trays and table for invasive procedures using aseptic technique. Completes required records and documentation in coordination with Registered Nurse. Performs daily quality control of x-ray equipment, annual apron checks and dosimeter badges as directed by the Lead or Management. Job Requirements Required 2 years of experience in invasive vascular procedures Graduate of an American Medical Association approved school for Radiologist Technologists Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Active Medical Radiogrpher license in the State of California Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT) Fluoroscopy Certification (FLRAD) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), within 24 months of hire Preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association Graduate of Invasive Cardiovascular Technology School Current or within previous 2 years, work in cardiac catheterization service areas.
