Full Job Description Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams under physician supervision to identify abnormalities and support patient diagnosis. The technician will prepare patients, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure safety and comfort during procedures.Key Responsibilities:
Perform and prioritize ultrasound exams following protocols. Educate patients, coordinate with medical staff, and document results accurately. Maintain equipment, work area, and supplies; support quality improvement initiatives. Mentor colleagues and students, and participate in educational activities. Support patient care by communicating effectively and ensuring safety.Qualifications & Skills:
ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in sonography, digital tools, clinical care, and time management. Strong communication, risk management, and patient instructional skills.Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year of experience.Physical Requirements:
Ability to read, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy environments.Work Details:
Full-time role with variable hours, including rotating Saturdays, based at a hospital in Denver, Colorado.Benefits
