Job Description
Overview:
Seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer who is comfortable performing echocardiograms, and carotid ultrasounds. Looking for a dedicated individual comfortable operating in a clinical environment.Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and carotid ultrasounds using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
- Accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings to obtain clear and comprehensive images of the heart and related structures.
- Apply anatomy knowledge to identify and interpret cardiac anatomy and function.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests and procedures performed.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent credential.
- Ability to create accurate and timely preliminary reports for our physicians interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Hours
