Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures. This contract position spans 17 weeks and plays a key role in supporting patient care within a dynamic cardiac cath lab environment.

Schedule:

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shifts On-call rotation every third weekend Two additional on-call weekdays per week, scheduled as needed by the unit

Required Qualifications:

Certification as RT(R) or RCIS Current BLS and ACLS certification Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with strong skills in imaging and invasive cardiac procedures Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced situations

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures Adhere to rigorous safety and infection control guidelines Prepare and maintain the cath lab, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the highest standard of patient care Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent situations Document and report all procedures and patient responses accurately
