Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as a Cath Lab Tech in a dynamic imaging environment. This contract opportunity provides a supportive setting where your skills will make a meaningful impact in an active Cath Lab. Collaborate closely with a dedicated cardiovascular team to deliver exceptional patient care and technical expertise.
Schedule:
6:30am to 5:00pm, with assigned late days during the week No weekends No holiday shifts
Qualifications:
Current certification as an RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RT(R) (Registered Technologist, Radiography) Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications Strong foundation in cardiovascular imaging and interventional procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional cardiac studies Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure accurate capture of diagnostic images Prepare and maintain the cath lab for daily procedures, including equipment setup, calibration, and quality checks Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols at all times Support patient care before, during, and after procedures, including monitoring vital signs and responding to clinical needs Accurately document procedure details and maintain records according to hospital standards This is an excellent opportunity to expand your experience in a state-of-the-art cath lab setting where your expertise helps drive outstanding patient outcomes.
