Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A closed-door pharmacy near Hartford is seeking a Part-Time/Per Diem Pharmacist to provide essential contract support over the next 3 to 4 months. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality pharmaceutical care in a long-term care setting.

Contract Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday Shift options: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexibility to work both shifts required) 1 to 3 days per week, with a flexible schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct PV2 checking and verification of prescriptions Oversee fulfillment and medication production processes Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy protocols Work primarily with the Frameworks pharmacy system Support clinical and operational pharmacy functions
Desired Qualifications:
Active Connecticut pharmacist license required Experience working in long-term care pharmacy settings preferred Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, ideally Frameworks Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance This position offers a unique opportunity for pharmacists with long-term care expertise to contribute valuable support during a critical period.
