1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications to support a Level I Trauma Center. Details Bi-campus coverage between two nearby hospital campuses connected by shuttle transportation Various shift options available including 2x12s, 3x12s, 4x10s, and 5x8s with rotating start times No weekends or holidays required Call shifts available to pick up on a voluntary basis Epic charting system used Uses GE Innova IGS, Philips, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and PACS equipment Requirements Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required License required if applicable Prior travel assignment experience required Level I Trauma Center experience preferred Skilled in vascular access, angiography, embolization, stent placement, and biopsy procedures Experience with genitourinary, vascular, and abdominal/pelvic interventional procedures Proficient in equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and room circulation duties One professional reference required for consideration Additional Information Facility is a Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center with over 1,500 staffed beds Orientation begins every Monday First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted Previous staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to return as a traveler Requests for RTO exceeding 7 days require additional approval Misty green OR scrubs provided Flu vaccination required with no declinations accepted COVID vaccination and booster required except for religious or medical exemptions Responsibilities include performing interventional radiology procedures, maintaining equipment, and stocking supplies May float between campuses to meet facility staffing needs
