Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician for a full-time opportunity. As an EP Technician on our team, you will greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures. Typical duties may include:
Assemble supplies and equipment needed for procedures Assist in soothing and positioning patients Maintain sterile techniques During procedures, monitor the patient as you assist the physician After the procedure, gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization May also transport patients to recoveryQualifications:
Bachelors degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology or related field RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) preferred Two (2) years of Electrophysiology experience ACLS and BLS required Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes and all interventional devices/procedures (EP/ablation/coronary/peripheral) Benefits HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
