Key Qualifications:

Certification or associate degree in Radiologic Technology or an allied health field Registered or registry-eligible as a Cath Lab Technologist; current ARRT or RCIS preferred Proven experience working in a catheterization lab environment Detailed knowledge of imaging techniques, angiography equipment, and sterile field protocols Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Set up and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and related procedures Assist cardiologists and nursing staff with sterile technique, patient monitoring, and supply management Troubleshoot and maintain cath lab imaging systems to ensure optimal image quality Prepare patients for procedures while explaining processes and ensuring comfort Accurately document procedural details, imaging data, and patient responses in electronic records Follow all safety and infection control guidelines to protect both patients and staff
