1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and required
BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS
certifications for a role at a teaching hospital. Details Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 599 staffed beds Cardiac Cath Lab department treating diagnoses such as chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension Procedures include left/right heart catheterization, CTO, complex PCI, peripheral and complex peripheral interventions, and carotid stent placement 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Weekend shifts required, approximately one weekend shift per 4-week schedule On-call requirement of 7-9 call shifts per month, including weekend call No floating within scope or to sister facilities required Cerner EMR preferred Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting required Current BLS and ACLS certification required ARRT and RCIS certification required FL state license required, if applicable Scrub and EKG skills required Experience with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, and Rotablader procedures required Cerner EMR experience preferred Additional Information Position located within a teaching hospital environment Red scrub color required
