About the Role We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Cath Lab / Interventional Technologist / OR Technologist to join our growing, high-retention outpatient surgery center. This role offers an exceptional work-life balance rarely found in acute care settings: a predictable four-day work week (Monday through Thursday) with no weekends and zero call obligations . Our clinical focus centers on advanced outpatient vascular interventions and therapeutic embolization procedures. While prior experience in interventional vascular or embolization techniques is welcomed, it is not required . We are fully equipped to train candidates with strong foundational procedural or Operating Room (OR) backgrounds and rigorous sterile technique.
Key Responsibilities Sterile Field Preparation:
Perform surgical hand scrubs, gowning, gloving, patient draping, and sterile tray setup according to strict aseptic standards.
Intra-Procedural Scrub & Support:
Scrub in alongside attending physicians to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional vascular and embolization cases; anticipate procedural workflow, pass wires, catheters, sheaths, and specialized devices.
Room Turnover & Equipment Readiness:
Set up fluoroscopy/imaging interfaces, sterile disposables, and vascular inventory prior to each case; maintain rapid and thorough room turnaround between patients.
Patient Care:
Assist clinical team with patient positioning, skin prep, post-procedure hemostasis.
Inventory & Quality Assurance:
Track procedural inventory, monitor supply expiration dates, and ensure specialized catheters, embolic agents, and devices are adequately stocked and documented.
Qualifications Procedural Experience:
Prior hands-on experience in an Operating Room (OR), surgical suite, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), or interventional lab setting. Prior direct Cath Lab/IR experience is not required if you possess OR or surgical scrub experience.
Sterile Technique:
Demonstrated mastery of aseptic technique, sterile field setup, and infection control standards. Credentials /
Licensure:
ARRT (R) with state radiologic technologist license, OR RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), OR CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) / Surgical Tech with interventional interest. Current BLS certification.
