Job Description

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to join our patient-centered cardiology team. In this role, you will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, preparing patients and operating advanced imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. You'll assist physicians during catheterizations, ensure radiation safety and infection control, and accurately document procedures. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment during procedures Assist physicians with invasive cardiac and vascular interventions Monitor patient status, vitals, and comfort throughout procedures and recovery Maintain accurate procedure documentation and patient records Ensure radiation safety and infection control standards are met Manage and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and supplies Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff for coordinated patient care Required Skills Cardiac catheterization procedures Fluoroscopy and angiography imaging Hemodynamic monitoring Sterile technique and infection control Radiation safety practices EKG interpretation Contrast media administration and safety Operation of cath lab imaging systems Patient preparation and recovery in cath lab Electronic medical record documentation
