Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:30 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support a leading healthcare organization in Margate, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for an imaging professional with Special Procedures and Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support during cardiac catheterization and special procedures.

Prepare the Cath Lab, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.

Assist physicians and the cardiac care team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Operate and assist with specialized imaging equipment while following established protocols.

Demonstrate competency with GE Innova imaging systems.

Maintain a safe and sterile procedural environment.

Follow radiation safety standards and appropriate infection-control procedures.

Monitor equipment and supplies to ensure the Cath Lab is prepared for procedures.

Assist with patient positioning and preparation before, during, and after procedures.

Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the healthcare team.

Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental policies and procedures.

Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent situations within the Cath Lab.

Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend on-call coverage.

Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-focused care throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

ARRT certification required.

ACLS certification required.

BLS certification required.

Previous experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures required.

Must be competent in Special Procedures.

Experience with GE Innova is required.

Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging procedures.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Ability to participate in weekday and every-other-weekend on-call rotation.

Preferred:

Strong Cardiac Cath Lab, Special Procedures, and GE Innova experience will be given preference.
