Job Description
CV Invasive Specialist - Cath Lab - ( 260003CR ) Description Under direct supervision following established policies, procedures, professional guidelines, assists in the cath lab delivering care to patient's pre, during and post procedure. Assists physician and CVTs in performing procedure to include but not limited to catheterizations, interventions, electrophysiology and implants. Assists implementing patient care; documents patient assessments and flow of procedure; identifies and reports situations requiring intervention; communicates goals and plan of care; assures patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the values of Tampa General Hospital. This position requires constant supervision. Qualifications High school diploma. Enrolled in a CVIS program or has equivalent hospital experience such as scrub tech, respiratory therapy, radiology technology, echocardiography or other experience to be reviewed for on the job training. Two years progressive clinical experience in a hospital.
