Job Description:
Administers, monitors, and reprograms medical devices to ensure proper functionality and patient safety. Educates patients regarding procedures and addresses their concerns about medical devices. Communicates patient concerns regarding devices to physicians for further evaluation and action. Maintains accurate documentation of reported information and performs additional clerical duties as assigned. Coordinates with healthcare professionals to optimize device performance and patient outcomes. Monitors supply inventory and ensures availability of necessary equipment and materials. Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to departmental clinicians. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions for staff members. Ensures adherence to the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the department and organization. Supports compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting bodies. Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and accurately documents and monitors activities as needed. Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrade skills. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
Grad or Equiv /GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Work Experience:

Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support•CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
