Responsibilities:
What you will do Patient Interaction & Prep Transports Patient Verify patient identity using two identifiers. Complete and document pre-procedure screening (e.g., contrast consent). Educate patients about the procedure. Communicate readiness to remote technologist. Physical Setup Position the patient correctly on the scanner table. Prepare positioning aids Loads contrast injector Contrast Administration Monitor for adverse reactions and initiate emergency response if needed. Emergency Readiness Initiate BLS protocols if required Escalate to on-site technologists, physician or EMS per facility protocol Communication Maintain continuous two-way communication with the remote technologist during the scan
Complete Exam Data Entry Qualifications:
Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Work Experience No experience required Recent experience in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation preferred Licenses and Certifications BLS certification required
