1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization at a Trauma Level II facility. Details Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 2 procedure rooms Adult to geriatric patient population Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts, either 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Every other weekend shift required Rotating weekend call required May float within the facility and scope of practice as needed Utilizes Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR charting/communication systems Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab required First-time travelers not accepted BLS and ACLS certifications required

CCI RCIS

certification required ARRT-R certification required State license required if applicable Trauma Level II hospital experience required Epic charting experience preferred Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, PTCA, left/right heart catheterizations, and pacemaker insertion Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Skilled in EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and hemodynamic monitoring Ability to recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias Experience with IABP and Impella insertion/removal Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices Additional Information Responsibilities include equipment setup, room circulating, scrubbing to maintain sterile field, and accurate patient monitoring May perform or assist with EP studies, cardioversion, and tilt table studies Works with Philips imaging equipment, ultrasound, and PACS systems Scrubs provided by facility Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract If 1-2 major holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested If 3 major holidays fall during the assignment, one holiday RTO request may be considered Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day Local candidates accepted at the same rate Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred at time of consideration Full compliance required to start on time, as delays may push back start date by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule Returning employees or travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for one full year before reapplying
