Responsibilities Perform and interpret cardiac ultrasounds (echocardiograms) in accordance with established protocols Acquire and optimize 2 D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow images for accurate cardiology assessment Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning Document and maintain accurate patient records and exam findings in the electronic health record (EHR) Ensure proper operation, care, and quality control of sonography equipment Educate patients on procedures, address concerns, and promote a positive care experience Comply with all Trusted Health and facility policies, including safety, infection control, and privacy standards Required Skills Echocardiography Doppler ultrasound Color flow imaging Cardiac anatomy and physiology EHR documentation Patient positioning and imaging optimization IV and contrast administration (if applicable) Infection control practices Cardiac stress echo procedures Basic life support (BLS)
