Qualifications/Experience:
Completion of an accredited surgical technology or nursing program Current certification/licensure as a CVOR Tech or equivalent Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiovascular operating room settings BLS and ACLS certifications (as required) Adaptable, with excellent communication and teamwork skills Familiarity with high-level sterile techniques and cardiovascular instrumentation
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring optimal operating room preparation and safety Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and RNs for seamless patient care Monitor and maintain sterile environments, anticipating the needs of the surgical team Manage surgical instruments and supplies for complex cardiovascular procedures Contribute to accurate documentation and compliance with clinical protocols
