Job Summary and Qualifications Serves as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures for a Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Care facility. Requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology in a safe patient care environment. Assists with, or will learn to assist with structural heart repair procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, etc.) as well as insertion/removal of cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO, etc.). This position requires on-call during the week and weekend in a rotation within 30 minutes from the hospital.
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology or Graduate of accredited school of radiology is required Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Benefits Memorial Health University Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
