1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech requiring ARRT-R certification and experience with both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems. Details Hospital-based Cath Lab unit setting 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM 40 hours per week Backfill position requiring EPIC experience Must have experience with both EPIC and Cerner systems Requirements ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) certification required RT (Radiologic Technologist) license required in state of practice; license required if applicable BLS certification required ACLS certification required Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab specialty required Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred One year's catheterization experience preferred Experience with EPIC and Cerner EMR systems required Recent experience within the last 3 months in the specialty required Additional Information Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular and pulmonary procedures Operates and troubleshoots C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and patient monitoring equipment Monitors, records, and evaluates patient vital signs throughout procedures Maintains sterile technique and adheres to infection control and radiation safety protocols Assists physicians with administration of contrast media via catheter or direct injection Acts as a resource for complex or specialized procedures Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse action on their license will not be considered Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local rates are the same as travel rates
