7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for a 13-week contract assignment supporting cardiac imaging services at Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hospital/inpatient experience with strong expertise in advanced cardiac imaging, including stress echocardiograms, strain imaging, bubble studies, and structural heart imaging. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound and echocardiographic studies. Perform and assist with stress echocardiograms, strain imaging, and bubble studies . Support advanced cardiac imaging for structural heart patients. Perform imaging for HOCM evaluations and other complex cardiac conditions. Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols. Accurately document and communicate findings to the appropriate clinical team. Work closely with cardiologists and other members of the healthcare team. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations. Follow hospital policies, quality standards, and infection-control procedures. Assist with TEE procedures when qualified and experienced. Requirements 5+ years of hospital/inpatient cardiac sonography experience. Must hold an active ARDMS or CCI certification . RDCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification required.

Experience with:

Stress echocardiography Strain imaging Bubble studies Structural heart imaging HOCM evaluations TEE experience preferred. IV-start experience is preferred but not required. Please indicate experience with IV placement when applying. Strong communication and clinical skills. New graduates will not be considered.
