ResponsibilitiesAssists in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing and completing a diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedure under the supervision of a physician.
Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology.
Responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures.
Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves.
Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.
QualificationsGraduation from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience.
Cath lab or EP lab experience is preferred but not required for those with cardiac education background.
Two years in either Cath or EP is preferred but not required.
Organized, efficient, team-based attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to demonstrate effective communication.
Ability to work varied hours and shifts.
License or certification: Current CVT or RTR credential required; ACLS and BLS certifications required upon hire.
Within six months of hire must obtain
