Your day will include assisting with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and compassionate bedside care — including support for patients nearing end of life. Your focus, observation skills, and steady presence help ensure safe, high‑quality care for patients who require close monitoring. What You'll Gain On the Cardiac Renal Unit, you'll gain specialized experience caring for patients with heart failure, dysrhythmias, renal insufficiency/failure, unstable angina, myocardial infarction (MI), and pre-open heart surgery needs. You'll learn how to support telemetry patients and work alongside nurses trained in dysrhythmia and EKG interpretation.
