Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for consistently performing high quality Echocardiography exams according to the established protocols that meet department quality standards on both Inpatients and Outpatients. Provides diagnostic clinical support to physicians and other caregivers. Assists in all aspects of the daily activities of the Echocardiology Department including scheduling of patients and the coordination of care with the other departments within the hospital. Collaborates with clinicians and staff on all aspects of the Department's operations and planning. Responsible for the care and cleaning of equipment.
Education and Experience Required:
National Certification in
Echocardiology RDCS or RCS Preferred:
Three (3) years of full-time Adult Echocardiography experience. Experience in obtaining and/or maintaining IAC Accreditation.
