This advanced position entails assisting in surgical procedures, focusing specifically on open-heart surgeries and other complex cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will operate under minimal supervision, ensuring the operating room environment is safe, equipment functions properly, and operative procedures are conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. plays a crucial role in the success of our cardiovascular surgeries. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and operational. Assist in complex cardiovascular surgical procedures, providing direct assistance to surgeons. Maintain sterile conditions throughout surgeries and anticipate surgeon's needs to ensure a smooth workflow. Operate and monitor sterilizing equipment. Keep detailed logs of operation procedures for compliance and review. Participate in training and mentoring junior technologists and other operating room staff. Required Skills Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and procedures. Strong ability to operate complex operating room machinery. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Capacity to maintain focus and quality of work under pressure of critical surgeries.
