Full Job Description Responsibilities:
The Monitor Tech (MT) performs clerical, reception, admissions, communication and coordination of tasks to facilitate smooth functioning of the patient care area. Participates in the delivery of patient care under the direction of licensed nursing staff for patients served Identifies, monitors, interprets, and documents rhythm strips and/or performs video monitoring of patients as assigned. Performs direct and indirect diagnostic therapeutic, administrative and service tasks necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the unit. The MT applies knowledge of growth and development in patient and family interactions to care for patients.
