Qualifications:
Current credentials as a Cath Lab Technologist. Completion of an accredited imaging program or equivalent work experience. Relevant certification (such as ARRT or RCIS). BLS and ACLS certifications required. Strong team collaboration and communication skills. Previous Cath Lab experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all supplies and equipment are properly set up. Monitor the patient during procedures and provide direct support to the cardiology team. Document and record procedural information accurately. Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
