The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures that assist cardiologists in the evaluation and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain advanced radiologic equipment used in cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to radiation exposure and infection control.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in cardiovascular imaging technology.
  • Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with specialized training or experience in cardiovascular imaging.
  • Proven experience working in a cardiac cath and angiography laboratory or similar clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
