•$1262.00 The Monitor Technicians are responsible for on-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides RN's and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of York Hospital Clinical and Professional Development Dysrhythmia Course and EKG exam prior to completion of orientation. BLS certified Acquires and maintains ongoing education in the field of practice. Two years' experience monitoring ECG/Dysrhythmia in a physician's office, clinic, hospital, or similar setting required. The Monitor Technician maintains the highest standards of practice in the clinical setting and is responsible for creating exceptional patient/family experiences during the delivery of this care. Initiates and discontinues monitoring equipment on admission, transfer, or discharge. Performs configuration as necessary.
