COVR Cardiovascular OR Tech in Brooklyn, MI

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract This position requires a skilled CVOR Tech with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room support. The role focuses on technical duties essential for preparing and caring for pre-operative patients, ensuring a seamless surgical process within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Schedule:

4-10 hour shifts, rotating schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM On-call every fourth weekend (Friday-Sunday) On-call once per week in a six-week rotation

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing cardiovascular operating rooms for surgical procedures Provide support in the care of pre-operative patients, ensuring their comfort and safety Maintain operating room equipment and supplies in readiness for surgery Collaborate with surgical team members to facilitate efficient patient flow Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR Tech) Proven experience in surgical or cardiovascular operating room settings Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills
