Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as a skilled Cath Lab Technologist in a dynamic cath/EP laboratory environment. This contract opportunity offers hands-on procedural experience and a collaborative team atmosphere for professionals eager to make a significant impact in cardiac care.
Schedule:
Full-time, weekdays from 6:30am to 5:00pm One variable weekday off per week On-call required: One weekend per month (Friday 5:00pm to Monday 6:30am) and four weeknights per month (5:00pm-6:30am next day) No regular weekend work outside of on-call duties
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a cath/EP lab Proficient at scrubbing for all types of heart caths, structural heart, peripheral vascular, and EP procedures Strong knowledge and experience with the Merge Hemo documentation system preferred RCIS or RCES licensure preferred; ARRT licensure accepted with demonstrated cath lab scrub experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to maintaining the highest level of patient care and safety
Responsibilities:
Scrub and assist across a range of cath lab and EP procedures Maintain accurate procedural documentation and patient records Operate specialized equipment and monitor patient status during procedures Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure seamless workflow Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled This 13-week contract is ideal for a proactive technologist ready to take on a challenging role, develop new skills, and make meaningful contributions to cardiac patient care.
