This contract position seeks a skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, ready to support advanced cardiac and electrophysiology procedures alongside a dedicated clinical team.
Schedule:
Full-time, weekdays 6:30a-5p One variable weekday off per week On-call required: 1 weekend per month (5p Friday-6:30a Monday) Four weeknights per month (5p-6:30a next day) No additional weekend commitments beyond scheduled on-call shifts
Qualifications:
1-2 years of recent experience in a cardiac catheterization or EP lab Proficient in scrubbing for all heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart, and EP procedures Familiarity with the Merge Hemo documentation system preferred Current certification in ACLS and BLS required Prefer RCIS or RCES licensure; ARRT with substantial cath lab scrub experience will be considered Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Scrub and assist in a wide range of cardiac and vascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols Operate and maintain specialized cath lab equipment, contributing to high-quality imaging and patient care Accurately document procedures using the relevant electronic medical record system Respond efficiently to on-call situations, adapting to urgent clinical needs Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technical staff to provide comprehensive patient care throughout each procedure This is a 13-week contract suited for professionals confident in their abilities and seeking a stimulating, supportive environment to apply their expertise.
