1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring BLS, ACLS, and MI license. Details 225-bed specialty care hospital with a Heart & Vascular Institute Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiac Imaging department, Trauma Level 2 facility Adult and geriatric patient population Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, and other heart disease Uses Cath Lab Suite equipment EHR systems include Merge Hemo and Cerner Variable shift start times of 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM, shifts run 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Every other weekend on-call requirement Must report within 30 minutes of being called in for on-call shifts Requirements Current BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA certifications required) Michigan state license required if applicable Experience with general Cath Lab procedures preferred, including angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, CTO, intra-aortic balloon, Impella, intravascular ultrasound, pan table, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, and wave wire Experience with hemodynamic and other calculations preferred Experience with right and left heart catheterization preferred Experience with structural heart procedures preferred Experience with vascular interventional procedures preferred, including contrast administration, emergency procedures, peripheral, thoracic, and PE cases Experience with EP studies preferred Training will be provided for candidates without all preferred skills Additional Information Scrubs provided Team environment emphasizing mutual respect Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
