1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of EP experience and ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Details Work in the Electrophysiology Lab performing cardiac cath lab and EP procedures 4x10 hour day shifts scheduled on random days each week No weekend or holiday coverage required Charting system experience required (any system accepted) Requirements Minimum of 1 year of EP experience including monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing Current ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS certifications required CCI RCES and
CCI RCIS
certifications preferred License required if applicable Skilled in interpretation of dysrhythmias and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Experience with electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies Proficient in maintaining sterile field while scrubbing and serving as room circulator Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use Able to provide age-specific care for middle adult and older adult populations Additional Information Perform a full range of cardiac cath lab and EP procedures including ablations, mapping, cardioversion, and device implantation Work as part of a team responsible for circulating and scrubbing during procedures 13-week contract assignment
