Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Expert professionals in cardiac and vascular imaging are needed to join a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab team at a leading teaching hospital. This magnet-designated facility is equipped with 874 licensed beds, serving as a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center, with a robust reputation for excellence as a Chest Pain Center.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts, 0730-1800 (days) Weekend and on-call rotations as assigned (vascular: two weekends/month & two weekdays of call; cardiac: one call night/week & every 5th weekend) Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
Key Qualifications:
At least one year of recent Cath Lab experience (peripheral angiogram/run-off experience essential) BLS and ACLS certifications ARRT-R or RCIS required for Cardiac Cath Techs Willingness to learn EVARs, TEVARS, or endovascular grafts if not already experienced Highly prefer prior IR or vascular lab background Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Role Responsibilities:
Perform procedures for cardiac cases: NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip Assist in vascular cases, primarily lower extremity angiograms, EVARs, TEVARs Operate advanced imaging and monitoring technology including Philips, GE, Siemens, and various hemodynamic/med dispensing systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Participate in department orientation, including hands-on training and system modules
