Also assists the supervisor with the provision of leadership and staff development for the unit. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (RT-R) is required. An additional year in special imaging (invasive) is preferred for RT-R graduates. ARRT certification is required OR Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology. 8 years of experience as a technician in a Cath Lab is required. American Heart Association BLS certification is required. Demonstration of an appropriate technical skill level in the Cath Lab.
