Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist from an accredited program. Proven experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or similar imaging environment. Strong understanding of X-ray imaging and fluoroscopic principles. Competency in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as post-procedure monitoring. Proficiency in using medical imaging equipment and healthcare software. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and patient-centered care skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, operate, and maintain cath lab imaging equipment for cardiac and vascular procedures. Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures. Monitor patient vitals and ensure safety throughout each procedure. Document all procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system. Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and radiation safety measures. Participate in emergency interventions and respond effectively under pressure.
