Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in a nationally recognized cardiac center as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, providing vital diagnostic and interventional support in a teaching hospital with Level I Trauma capabilities and Magnet status. This opportunity offers exposure to a high-acuity patient population and cutting-edge vascular and cardiac procedures.
Schedule:
4x10-hour shifts, days (07:30-18:00) Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations discussed during interview
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
Cath Lab Tech:
BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R or RCIS certification Must have peripheral angiogram/run-off experience; experience with endografts, EVARs, or TEVARS preferred (or willingness to learn) Experience in IR or working with vascular surgeons highly preferred Open to first-time travelers
Responsibilities:
Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, including NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, and various lower extremity angiograms Maintain proficiency with equipment such as Philips, GE, Siemens x-ray, EPIC EMR, Merge Hemo, Omnicell, Alaris, and PACS (ISCV) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Charge nurse, VAD/ECMO/code/RT teams, traffic flow coordinator, and support staff Adhere to department protocols and participate in a comprehensive orientation and ongoing training, including facility and unit onboarding, ACE modules, and EMR competency testing
