1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and Trauma Level II experience for a 13-week outpatient cardiology assignment. Details Cardiology outpatient clinic setting Adult patient population with 1:1 patient ratio Performs adult echo, 2-D echo, 3-D echo, bubble study, color doppler, imaging with contrast agents, M-mode, right ventricular inflow/outflow tract studies, routine and treadmill stress echo Preferred experience with portable studies Uses GE, PACS, Philips, and Siemens equipment 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Biweekly orientation schedule Requirements Current BLS certification required ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification required (not both) Minimum 2 years of experience required EPIC charting experience required Trauma Level II experience required Preferred experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I settings Preferred skills in diastology, LV strain/LV volume, proximal isovelocity surface area, and Simpson's rule calculations Preferred experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings One supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information Performs a range of adult echocardiography studies including structural and functional cardiac assessments Local candidates accepted within 75 miles of the facility at a reduced rate Maximum of 5-7 days RTO permitted with consideration Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 31-March 31) with no exemptions Candidates with prior permanent employment at this health system must disclose that history, and must not have been a permanent employee within the past 6 months
