Our Cardiac Technicians work collaboratively to provide vital diagnostic insights and support for patients undergoing cardiology evaluations. By utilizing advanced hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment, our team plays a critical role in early detection, treatment planning, and patient comfort. We view our tech professionals as an essential component of the care team, directly impacting patient journeys and clinical outcomes with precision and compassion. As a Cardiac Technician, a typical day might include the following: Welcoming and preparing patients for non-invasive testing while verifying medical history. Performing standard electro-cardiograms (EKGs/ECGs) by accurately placing chest and limb electrodes. Setting up and conducting treadmill stress tests using the GE Case stress system. Applying and managing Holter monitors and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring equipment. Reconciling EKG data and Holter monitor reports for physician interpretation and printing face sheets. Supporting cardiologists and medical staff in diagnosing complex cardiovascular diseases. Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by strictly following clinical asepsis standards.
This Role Might Be For You If:
You are passionate about patient care and providing a smooth, comforting experience in a cardiology suite. You have strong analytical, computer, and problem-solving skills to manage detailed patient data. You set a high bar for yourself to maintain a safe, highly efficient, and therapeutic environment. You recognize the clinical impact of your diagnostic reporting on a patient's treatment plan. You keep yourself current on technological developments in the cardiovascular testing field. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have: High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong baseline of interpersonal, technical, and written communication skills.
Preferred:
Prior technical experience operating GE EKG software, Holter systems, and Case stress equipment.
Preferred:
Background or certification in EKG/Cardiovascular technology.
