Cardiac Operating Room (OR) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist to join a Cardiac Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Cardiac OR experience and must be confident scrubbing cardiac surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for preparing and maintaining surgical instrumentation, assisting the surgical team during procedures, maintaining accurate counts, handling specimens, and ensuring proper decontamination and sterilization of instruments and equipment. Required Experience Minimum 2 years of Cardiac OR experience. Must be able to scrub cardiac surgery cases. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation. Experience with any of the following is highly preferred:CABG MVR / AVR
Minimally invasive cardiac surgery Aneurysm procedures ECMO / Impella Lead extractions Education Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or an appropriate surgical technology training program. Required Certifications Surgical Technologist Certification BLS- AHA Ideal Candidate We are looking for a dependable and highly skilled Surgical Technologist who is comfortable working in a Cardiac OR , has strong cardiac surgery experience, and can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team.
